Pattern: McCall's 8064

McCalls 8064 is a simple and stylish dress pattern.  This pattern was McCall's 7432.

Y Pattern: Sizes XSM, Small, and Medium

Z Pattern: Sizes Large, X-Large, and XX-Large 

Recommended Fabric: 72" Batik Cotton Jersey Knit. Our sample was made using 72" Batik Cotton Jersey Knit - Persia in the color Lake. We made a Medium length "D". For this sample we cut 1 1/2 Yards of our 72" Wide Batik Cotton Jersey Knit. The pattern recommends yardage for 60" wide fabric. Due to the flare of the skirt purchase the same yardage when purchasing our 72" wide Knit.

Skill Level:  Confident Beginner. 

Hints & Tips:  this pattern is fast and simple when using a serger. A serger is not required to make this garment. Jersey knit does not ravel so if you don't have a serger (yet)feel comfortable using a traditional sewing machine, Jersey needle, and a stretch stitch on your sewing machine.
