Do you sell Batik Flannel?
Not at this time. Several years ago we had to make the decision of whether to continue producing our 42" and 106" wide Batik/Hand Dyed Flannel. It was not an easy decision. We did decide to stop production to allow ourselves the time to focus on new products including our Batik Rayon and Batik Cotton Jersey Knit.
We receive communication from you all when you need "just a little bit more" to complete a project. We sincerely apologize, but we no longer have even a 2" strip.
Thank you for loving our Flannel and we hope you will find new Batik fabrics, projects, and notions that fit your project needs!
Will I be charged for a Preorder?
A preorder is a commitment to purchase yardage or products before they physically arrive in our office. It is also a commitment from us to package and ship the preordered items once the item arrives in our office. The yardage or items that you preorder are not available to anyone else.
There are times when touching, feeling, and matching fabric are required prior to ordering significant yardage. Our free swatch program is our solution.
We mail fabric swatches at no charge to US mailing addresses. Mailing free swatches to international addresses is cost prohibitive. Instead we will work with you through photographs, zoom sessions, and FaceTime sessions to help with fabric selection. We know this does not help you "feel" the fabric, but it will help with color selection.

Privacy and Security
SewBatik understands how important privacy and security are to your shopping experience. SewBatik respects the privacy needs and concerns of our customers. It is our goal to provide you with an enjoyable and satisfying shopping experience and to meet and surpass your expectations. The customer information that SewBatik collects through its web site is used to process orders and to improve your shopping experience. We will not sell, distribute, or otherwise publish your membership information to any third party.
Will I be charged sales tax?
In accordance with applicable law, SewBatik collects sales tax for any deliveries made in the state of North Dakota. We collect your local sales tax rate at the time of your purchase. We do not collect sales tax for deliveries made to any other state or country. Sales tax is applied to the total amount of your order. We are required to follow state laws that may require collection of sales tax state by state, and country by country. No sales tax is charged on the purchase of SewBatik Gift Certificates. Purchases made using your SewBatik Gift Certificates will be charged sales tax as required.

May I return return or exchange an item?
New Customer Message: If you are a new customer of SewBatik, please consider ordering a free swatch pack. Our swatch packs contain a swatch of each of our batik subtrates. Feeling and viewing our fabrics prior to a purchase may reduce or elimate the possibility of returns.
Review your purchase upon receipt. If you have questions regarding your purchase please contact us before washing, ironing, cutting, or opening your purchase.
Project Kits, Pre-Cut Packs, Patterns, Books: We do not accept returns on these items if opened without prior approval due to pattern copyright law.
Pre-Washed Fabric: We do not accept returns on any fabric that has been washed. Take a moment to review your fabric purchase before washing it. Pre-washed fabric can not be returned.
Damaged Yardage: If you believe the yardage is damaged please contact us for a full refund/exchange of yardage. We will pay for return mailing of any damaged yardage or sent by mistake. We will accept return shipping charges only if the return is pre-approved.
- Returns are accepted for store credit within 30 days of the purchase date. We will issue you a gift certificate in the value of the return, no expiration date.
- Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer, unless we accept responsibility for the shipping.
- We will notify you after we receive and review the returned merchandise.
