Fashion Duo - Tank Top/Overlay - Batik Rayon

Butterick 6356 is a multi fashion statement pattern that includes a cover-up, tank top, tank and cover-up, or simply a swimsuit cover. We love patterns that can be used for so many garments.

This specific Fashion Duo is a tank top and half overlay. I love this combination. The overlay adds style and flow to this simple to make top. The tank top is a traditional style of front/back and bias facings around the armholes and neckline. The overlay is a stylish half cover in the front with long divided overlay flowing over the shoulders and down the back. 

Our sample garment utilizes our 45" Batik Rayon - Spray - Brown Bark for the tank top and the 45" Batik Rayon - Gardenista Vine - Brown Bark for the overlay.

Fashion Duo Contents: Butterick 6356 and your selection of Batik Rayon coordinating fabrics. There are no additional accessories needed. We have discounted the pattern 35% and the Batik Rayon 15%.

Size 4 - 14:   1 1/2 Yards Tank Top + 3 Yards Cover-up + Pattern
Size 16 - 26:   2 Yards Tank Top +  3 1/4 Yards Cover-up + Pattern

Techniques involved include sewing a straight seam, hemming and applying bias neck facing encasing the tank and coverup in one facing.
