Thankful Table Setting Project Kit - Double Border Batik

Welcome 115" Wide Double Border Batik

You are perfect for our fitted Table Cloth - SewBatik Home!

This item is a fitted Tablecloth project with 12 or more matching napkins. There is also enough left over fabric to start a quilt project to make a table runner.

The size of the tablecloth shown in the image supports an oversized oval table measuring 60" x 96". This project does require you to do a bit of math and to understand our 115" wide Double Border fabric. NOTE: if the border is not important to your table cloth you will not need this amount of 115" wide fabric for your project. Download the measurement guide for additional details.

The Design...  I designed the tablecloth to showcase the border along all four sides of a rectangle/square tablecloth and the entire circumference of a round/oval tablecloth.  The border section of our 115" wide Double Border Batik runs along each selvage edge. We will cut the borders off the fabric, measure and cut our center section, and then reattach the border to the center creating the drop on the tablecloth.

Calculations for using the 115" wide Double Border Fabric... my table is oval and measures 60" x 90" at it's fullest points. I need 261 total inches of border for my large table. Remember, there are two borders on the fabric so let's divide 261" by 2 and the result is 130" of Double Border fabric. My table required 3 2/3 yards. I prepared the tablecloth with a 9 1/2" drop and made 12 matching 18" square napkins. I still have plenty of fabric left over for a future table runner, place mats, oven mitts, or the next fun quilting project that comes my way.
